Wait a minute! How can one complain about low enrollment when the outreach campaign is next to non-existent? This is (or was) one of the best kept secrets...

Who has the outreach or public education campaign contract? Lives are at stake here and only 250 or so have been approved, with a waiting list of approximately 700 plus persons? Or does the 1000 applicants also represent those who have been denied access to this program for those who have been denied?

The article implies that funding is in place until some aspects of the federal health care recently enacted becomes effective in 2013. If, true, and the soon to be implemented elements of the federal health care plan drive down the costs and eliminates barriers to similar coverage through state-based insurers, does this not represent one good outcome related to President Obama's health care reform?

Do you know someone who might be eligible? Share your story, please!
